Cleaning Operative – Permanent Position

We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high cleaning standards across a professional site in Central London.

Start Date: 25th June

Location: WC1B (Close to Goodge Street Station and Tottenham Court Road Station)

Working Hours:
Monday – Friday from 7:30 PMto 10:30 PM

Total Hours: 15 hours per week

Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated cleaner who is confident working independently, has excellent attention to detail, and takes pride in delivering high-quality cleaning services. This role requires someone who is organised, efficient, and comfortable carrying out a variety of cleaning tasks in a busy environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning the 2nd and 3rd floors of the building
• Washing and organising plates, cutlery, and cups
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
• Mopping kitchen floors using appropriate cleaning products
• Cleaning sinks, microwaves, coffee machines, and kitchen surfaces
• Dusting and maintaining high standards throughout the site
• Cleaning and checking the shower area on the 3rd floor daily
• Carrying out fridge deep cleaning when required
• Cutting, wrapping, and preparing boxes for disposal according to site requirements

The site includes:

• 9 rooms
• 4 toilets
• 1 kitchen

Requirements

• Previous UK cleaning experience is essential
• Good English communication skills
• Professional, polite, and reliable attitude
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to maintain high cleaning standards while working efficiently
